Limerick senior camogie manager Joe Quaid
LIMERICK got off to a winning start in Division 1B of the Very National Camogie League when recording a 1-13 to 1-6 victory over Down in Clonduff on Saturday afternoon.
Joe Quaid's Limerick side led the game 0-7 to 0-4 at half-time.
Next up for Limerick is a home fixture against Antrim on Saturday, February 22.
Limerick's seven point tally in the opening half saw captain Caoimhe Costello convert two frees, while Donna Kenny also contributed two valuable points from play.
