A CORBALLY woman has been recognised as an entrepreneur to watch in the future.
Cara O’Malley is the founder of Tomorrow’s Child Montessori School and TCM Schoolwear, based in Sixmilebridge.
She has been named the All-Ireland Business Foundation’s emerging entrepreneur of the year for Co Clare.
The emerging entrepreneur accreditation, the organisers of the contest say, recognises Ms O’Malley’s leadership, innovation and her dedication to enhancing education in Clare.
Deputy chair of the All-Ireland Business Foundation adjudication board Kieran Ring said: “Cara O’Malley is an inspiring example of entrepreneurial excellence. Her work in both the education and retail sectors showcases innovation, dedication, and a deep commitment to quality. The foundation is delighted to recognise her achievements with this well-deserved accreditation.”

Reacting to the news of the achievement, Ms O’Malley added: “This accolade is a reflection of my passion for education, my commitment to providing the highest-quality schoolwear, and the incredible support of my team, customers, and community. I look forward to continuing to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.”
Managing director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, Kapil Khanna, said: “Her dual contributions to education and business make her a standout leader in her field. We celebrate her success and look forward to seeing her continued impact.”
He explained that the foundation in its assessment evaluates the background of a company, its trustworthiness and performance.
“We speak to customers, employees and vendors. We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience,” he said.
