MEMBERS of Network Limerick which exists to support women in business and the arts have elected a new president for 2025.

Soprano Eva Stafford will take the reins from Fiona Doyle from next month.

Ms Doyle, a personal stylist based in Mungret, marked the end of her term with a president’s dinner at the Strand Hotel.

The evening featured an address by historian Dr Úna Ní Bhroiméil, who reflected on the evolving role of women in society.

Drawing on her extensive research, Dr Ní Bhroiméil explored the strides women have made and the importance of continued efforts to create an inclusive future.

She also emphasised the importance of collaboration and friendship within the network.

“The connections we’ve formed and the support we’ve offered one another have been truly heartwarming. Thank you to our members, sponsors, and committee for making this year such a success,” the outgoing president added.

Ms Stafford takes over the role as president, following a year of serving as vice-president under Ms Doyle’s leadership.

Ms Doyle said she is excited for the future of Network Ireland Limerick.
