Munster rugby legend David Wallace may not be lining out for his province any longer but he still intends on keeping all his fans sweet. Very sweet, in fact.
The launch of Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe in the Crescent Shopping Centre this Wednesday ensured that ‘Wally Wonka’ will be able to satisfy the sweet tooth of young and old alike.
The shop was officially opened by Munster rugby stars Ronan O’Gara and Paul O’Connell, alongside David and his wife Aileen.
Customers were even luckier than they anticipated as 200 10% off vouchers for the store were handed out on the day.
“Mr Simms Sweet Shop employs 10 local staff and has thousands of products in its range including all your old favourites and many new ones, according to David. A wide range of American cereals, chocolates and sodas, sugar free diabetic chocolate and sweets, fudges and boiled sweets are on display in the eye-catching new store.
“It gives me great pleasure to see happy faces on all our customers as they take a trip down memory lane” said David.
