Delays expected on Limerick road after collision

The fire service and ambulance crews are at the scene of the incident outside Adare

MOTORISTS are warned to expect delays if travelling around Adare following a crash near the village.

Traffic is backed up both westbound and eastbound on the N21 after a collision.

Five units of Limerick Fire and Rescue Service have been dispatched to the scene.

Four have come from Mulgrave Street in the city centre, the other from Rathkeale.

They were despatched just after 4.20pm.

The incident occurred on the Limerick side of Adare.
