BREAKING: Air ambulance responds to workplace accident in Limerick

EMERGENCY services - air ambulance, paramedics, firefighters and gardai - all responded to a workplace accident this Tuesday in Kilfinane.

It is understood that a man was working on a house in the town at the time and may have suffered crush injuries. It occurred shortly before 10am.

The extent of his injuries is not known at this time.

One local told Limerick Live: “When we saw the helicopter in the sky and the sirens of the ambulance, firefighters and guards, we knew something very serious was after happening. 

"Please God it is not too serious. He is in the best hands anyway.”
