A space to create at The GAFF's TRANSITIONS 6 conference

Assemble will be joining The Guest House, The Parsley Collective, and others for TRANSITIONS 6 in Limerick this October

THE GAFF and Creative Communities Midwest presents TRANSITIONS 6, a two-day conference that features artists' collectives and provides a space for dialogue and exchange between artists and visitors.

Taking place on October 4 and 5, the event brings together established and emerging collectives from Ireland and the UK for the two days of performance and conversations.

The GAFF is a resource for community, voluntary and professional arts in Limerick. They facilitate direct connection between artists, communities and the wider public.

Through Creative Communities Midwest, The GAFF has hosted TRANSITIONS since 2020 as a platform for artists and communities to explore different ways of creating work.

This year, in partnership with Dance Limerick, TRANSITIONS 6 is bringing together guest artists including leading figures from Assemble, London, The Guest House, Cork, and from The Parsley Collective, Concept Null, and Eyebright Collective from Limerick.

Together, they will offer unique insights into their working models and creative processes.

Over the two days, the event invites attendees to interrogate the fundamental components of collectives, exploring how different collectives function in contemporary times.

Through a mix of presentations, performances, and open discussions, participants will engage directly with the structures and stories that allow collectives to function.

The event is a celebration of artist collectives and artists. More information at thegafflimerick.com
