'He was always there for us' - Vogue Williams posts tribute after death of beloved family member

Vogue Williams has posted a touching tribute following the sad death of her beloved pet dog Winston whom she had for nearly 14 years.

Taking to Instagram with the sad news, the Irish presenter and media personality said Winston was a huge part of her family and had helped her through "lots of life changes".

The post reads:

"Rest in peace our beautiful Winnie. I’ve had Winston for almost 14 years and he’s been an huge part of our family. He’s helped me through lots of life changes, always there for us.

"I knew I would be sad when we lost him but I didn’t anticipate just how sad. We are heartbroken but I am so thankful I was there with him when it happened. There will never be another dog like you Winston you were one in a million. Sleep well our little best pal."

Hundreds of comments were left under the heartbreaking post from fans and other celebrities including on of Vogue's best friends' comedian Joanne McNally who said "Poor beautiful Winnie", and Irish presenter Darren Kennedy who said "Awwww I’m so sorry vogue".
