UCH Limerick will hold a rock-theatre show in tribute to Thin Lizzy's Philip Lynott
THE upcoming rock-theatre production Moonlight: The Philip Lynott Enigma is set to take to the stage at the University Concert Hall Limerick this summer.
This new and exciting production will offer audiences an unforgettable experience, celebrating the life and legacy of one of Ireland’s greatest rock icons.
This powerful and deeply moving production goes beyond the headlines to explore the early life and rise of Philip Lynott, frontman of Thin Lizzy, from his humble Dublin roots to his global impact as a musician and poet. A dynamic fusion of live music, theatre, and storytelling, Moonlight provides an intimate and expansive portrait of Lynott, elevating his place alongside Irish literary greats like Oscar Wilde and Brendan Behan.
Created by John Merrigan and Danielle Morgan, this honour production is directed by Jason Figgis and stars Peter M. Smith as Lynott. The show features a live band performing Thin Lizzy classics alongside brand-new original music, making it a must-see event for rock fans and theatre lovers alike.

The show will take place at the University Concert Hall on on Tuesday, June 24. Doors open at 7.30pm with the show starting at 8pm.
Tickets cost €45 plus a booking fee and are available now through UCH.ie and Ticketmaster.
