Limerick's Marion Kelly will compete on the news season of Glór Tíre
COUNTRY singer Marion Kelly will be flying the flag for her native Limerick when she appears on the new season of Glór Tíre.
Glór Tíre is the most successful and longest-running Country Music series on Irish television. Now in its 21st season, the show will be broadcast on Ireland’s national Irish language station, TG4. The 2025 run will be aired in March and April, but the opening four episodes were recorded on January 29 and January 30 in front of an audience of fans and dancers.
At the recordings, Marion sang solo and performed with her Glór Tíre mentor, Co. Galway singer Mike Denver, one of the most popular names in Irish Country music.
Marion will compete for the coveted title of Glór Tíre Country Music Champion 2025 against John Mullan (Derry/Tyrone), Erin Noone (Meath), Jack Larry (Donegal), Michaela Harkin (Donegal), Conor Owens (Fermanagh), Paddy Treacy (Fermanagh), and Jack Gladney (Carlow).
