Taoiseach Simon Harris has challenged Bruce Springsteen to 'beat' the atmosphere of the Limerick vs Cork match yesterday.
The Taoiseach, who attended the highly anticipated third round clash of the Munster Championship at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh yesterday, Saturday, May 11 has said "it was a breathtaking game of hurling", as Cork defeated Limerick by 3-28 to 3-26.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), The Taoiseach said: "That was a breathtaking game of hurling. What a sport, what an atmosphere, what a finish and what a grassroots organisation the GAA is! Congratulations Cork and commiserations Limerick. It was a privilege to watch you both in Pairc Ui Chaoimh. Beat that @springsteen."
