The Westmeath TikTok star feature in a New York Times article ahead of St Patrick's Day.
The TikTok star rose to social media fame over the pandemic mostly for his strong Westmeath accent but also his gym advice and fitness content.
The article title 'A Thirst for the Irish' was written by reporter Sadiba Hasan rang down the top 'Irish hunks' who 'have infused popular culture with big Irish energy.'
With reference to Doyle, Hasan said: "Doyle has gained some 1.3 million followers by posting lighthearted videos showing snippets of his day-to-day life in Leitrim, about two and a half hours from Dublin. Mr Doyle, whose ginger hair is styled in a mullet, said he has “a large American audience.” He thinks part of that has to do with his “country accent.”
Speaking to The New York Times, Doyle said: "I think the major appeal to Americans of Irish lads is that we have kind of a sense of mystery, mostly because they can’t understand our accent."
Doyle reacted to the piece and was very ecstatic about the piece, explaining to his followers: "Lads I am in the New York Times, not the Ballinasloe times now The New York Times."

The creator went on to say: "I would like to say I am among a crop of Irish hunks. What a day for the parish. Shout-out to the lads. What a day."
A number of people have commented under the reaction piece.
