Memories – 20 years – Stab City slur is denied by Dustin

Willie O'Dea complains

DUSTIN, RTE’S lovable turkey, emphatically denied this week that he used the dreaded “Stab City” slur when speaking about Limerick on a programme.

Deputy O’Dea said that he did not see the programme himself but received the protest.

“Some gurus in RTE might think this type of a thing is a joke and goes down well in Dublin 4, but we are not amused,” said the TD.
