Limerick hockey duo represent Ireland against England JAGS

Villers School hockey duo of Bryan Smyth and Sam Lilburn pulled on the green of Ireland last week as they represented their country against England during a mid-term break tournament at Lilleshall.

Bryan Smyth was part of the Irish U16 side who were narrowly defeated by the England JAGS in their three ties, while Sam Lilburn lined out for the Irish U18s in their three games against England, winning one and losing two. 

Both Smyth and Lilburn are members of Limerick hockey club also.

Ireland 2 - 5 England Wednesday 20th February– 4:30pm

Ireland 4 - 1 England Thursday 21st February – 3:30pm

Ireland 3 - 5 England Friday 22nd February – 1:00pm

Boys U16 

Ireland 2 - 5 England Wednesday 20th February– 4:30pm

Ireland 1 - 3 England Thursday 21st February – 3:30pm

Ireland 2 - 3 England Friday 22nd February – 1:00pm
