For very obvious reasons, Dundalk fans were unable to travel to Arnhem, a city about one hour south of Amsterdam. Fortunately for me I moved to Amsterdam at the beginning of July and low and behold Dundalk got drawn against a Dutch team. I didn't think twice about making the trip to see the Lillywhites take on a strong Vitesse team in their impressive Gelodrome stadium on the outskirts of Arnhem. What a game it was, four goals, one red card and a great result! Up the Town!
