'These kids are getting married!' Limerick hurler and fiancée celebrate engagement

Barry Nash and Hope Mulcahy shared their engagement news in August in a joint post on social media
LIMERICK hurling star Barry Nash and his beautiful bride-to-be Hope Mulcahy have celebrated their love with an engagement party surrounded by their friends and family.
The couple hosted the party over the weekend, with Hope wowing in a beautiful white dress, mimicking the wedding dress she is soon to be wearing!
A sign at the party showed two adorable baby pictures of the couple with the words “These kids are getting married”.

Several polaroid pictures of the pair were dotted around the space, with white balloons completing the decor.
Newlyweds Gemma Cowen and Limerick hurling teammate William O’Donoghue attended the party, alongside William’s sister, Kylie, who recently announced her pregnancy.

Charcuterie boards, chocolate-covered strawberries and a black-and-white cake with the word “engaged” piped on with frosting kept the guests well-fed.
Weddings & Events Content Creator The Ivory Lens shared a range of photos of the fabulous event on social media.
Barry and Hope shared their engagement news in August in a joint post on Instagram, captioned “28.08.26” with a white heart emoji.

The post included a photo of the couple showing them both beaming with Hope’s oval cut ring on display.
Barry plays as a left corner-back for the senior hurling team along with South Liberties GAA Club. He notched up his 50th championship appearance in the green and white in July.
