Limerick’s Big Day Out just got bigger with Basshunter addition
The Big Day Out returns to Limerick with chart-topping stars and a fresh festival experience
LIMERICK’S TUS Gaelic Grounds is gearing up to open their gates to music fans from all over Ireland on Saturday, August 23 for the anticipated ‘The Big Day Out’.
With an already jam packed lineup, they have added another exciting addition to the line up.
BASSHUNTER, one of the biggest selling acts of the noughties, will take to the Gaelic Grounds stage joining Blue, Peter Andre, Whigfield, and many more.
He topped the Irish charts for an unprecedented five weeks in 2008 with his floor filler “Now You’re Gone”. Since then BASSHUNTER has headlined sold out shows all over the country ever since.
“I do dozens of shows all over the world every year but the crowd reaction in Ireland to the music is always bigger and better as is the afterparty.”
Big Day Out will be MCed by Mark Mc Cabe and with more acts to be announced, the return of the Silent Disco, a brand-new site layout with new areas, and more bars, The Big Day Out is the throwback party of the summer.
