Storytelling and circus workshops are also on the event schedule

THE LIMERICK Harvest Festival will see a large portion of the Milk Market transformed into a performance space for fire spectacles.

The festival, taking place on Sunday, October 25, will feature fire spectacle performances at 11.30am and 2.30pm; with circus workshops taking place in-between.

The festival stage will be featuring storyteller Eddie Lenihan at 1.30pm and Chef Keith Pigott will be cooking up seasonal treats just after the first fire show from 12pm.

Chef Pigott said: “This time of year is bountiful and rich in the kitchen and I look forward to showing some seasonal cooking at Limerick Harvest Festival.

"The festival will be a great blend of entertainment and education for families but also for people curious about tradition and tasty treats. It’s a great pleasure to be invited back to the Milk Market to join this new, exciting festival.”

This Home of Halloween event, supported by Limerick City & County Council, will also see an interactive wooden games area upstairs, hands-on autumnal workshops, music & dance and an engaging craft, food and garden market.

It focusses on "the importance of embracing the ancient roots of harvest and Halloween” making it a culturally relevant and uniquely Limerick event.

David Fitzgerald, general manager of Limerick Milk Market said: “Set in the iconic Milk Market, this vibrant, family-friendly festival offers something for everyone—whether you’re here for the fire spectacle, the food, or the folklore.”

Limerick Harvest Festival and Fire Show will be taking place at the Milk Market on Sunday, October 25 from 10.30am–5pm.

Festival tickets can be bought online from the Milk Market website.

Ticket holders can explore the full market venue for the duration of the day, including all the workshops.

Some tickets will be available on the day.
