"I'm the first ever professional to come from Yukon. My dream has always been to play overseas. I'm happy to have the opportunity to come over here and play for Treaty now" said new signing Joe Hanson.
Joe Hanson enjoyed a glittering career at underage level which culminated in him signing for the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy in August of 2019, eventually progressing to the club’s U23 and reserve sides. Hanson most recently lined out for Valour FC in the Canadian Premier League, making eleven appearances for the Winnipeg-based side before making the move to Treaty United and becoming the newest addition to Tommy Barrett’s squad.
Ahead of the start of the season, Joe Hanson spoke with Leader Sport.
