Munster Rugby travel to the Stade Chaban Delmas this Sunday to take on Racing 92 in the semi final of the Champions Cup. The province are looking to reach their first Champions Cup final since 2008.
The stadium holds fond memories for Munster fans. The home of Bordeaux's professional soccer side was the venue for Munster's historic 31-25 win over Toulose in 2000, qualifying Munster for their first ever Heineken Cup final.
Tries from Jason Holland, Ronan O'Gara and John Hayes sealed the win, in what was a memorable game of rugby against the then king pins of Europe Toulouse. The video above shows the famous Ronan O'Gara try, which has gone down in history as one of Munster's all time top tries.
Note, just 18 years on, the jerseys on the players which in today's world, have enough material in them to make four new look kits.
