WATCH: Celebrations in Broadford village as it hosts second-ever St Patrick's Day parade

SUNNY breaks between the showers graced the crowds that turned out in Broadford this Friday morning for their second annual St Patrick's Day parade.

It all kicked off from the creché in the west Limerick village at 11.30am, the first marchers being the Broadford volunteers who were sporting a major flag and traditional green colours.

Closely followed were young teams from local sports clubs, vintage cars, tractors, motorcycles, personnel from Newcastle West fire station and much much more!

The little ones were decked out in green white and gold and in high spirits, with all of the fun festivities going on - little scooters, tricycles and toy tractors just some of the vehicles of choice this morning.
