A wholesome Irish TikTok video that went viral has been featured on CBS News in the United States.
Last month, Cathal Herron and his wife Bernie were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary and spotted a white Citroen 2CV parked in Tesco carpark in Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
Bernie always said the Citroen 2CV was her dream car, and while she was going to have a look and encouraged to "take a wee photo," Cathal surprised her with the news that the car, was, in fact, now hers as an anniversary - and birthday - present. "That's yours now," she was told.
Their daughter Niamhín captured the moment and posted the video on TikTok, with her mother lost for words at the girt.
Niamhín's video has been viewed over 1.4million times since, so much so that CBS picked up on the story and featured it on their 'Top Story, Top Moment' segment.
