LIMERICK hurling manager John Kiely was pleased with his teams reaction to a poor first-half performance against Tipperary to turn around a one-point 0-26 to 3-16 victory against their rivals in the Allianz Hurling League at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh this Saturday evening.
The four-time All-Ireland champions showed their class in the second-half of the game scoring 17 points before an injury time goal from Tipperary's Jake Morris clawed the deficit back. Thankfully time was on Limerick's side as referee Liam Gordon blew the full-time whistle to leave Limerick with an unbeaten record in the league with four wins.
They will now face Galway in Pearse Stadium next Saturday, March 16 at 1:15pm in the last of their group games in the league.
