LIMERICK senior hurlers kept their hopes of reaching the Co-Op Superstores Munster Senior Hurling League final alive after securing an impressive 1-28 to 0-16 victory over Cork in their Group B fixture at the TÚS Gaelic Grounds on Wednesday night.
John Kiely's Limerick side bounced back from their narrow defeat to Clare on Saturday when scoring an impressive victory over an inexperienced Cork team.
Limerick, who fielded a mixture of established and younger players for the game, will now await the result of the final group fixture between Cork and Clare on Monday night next which will determine which of the three sides advances to the final.
