WATCH: Kilmallock's Conor Hanley Clarke 'happy enough' after exciting Limerick SHC draw with Doon

Kilmallock maintained their unbeaten start in Group 1 after 2-16 to 0-22 share of the spoils with Doon in Knocklong on Thursday

KILMALLOCK maintained their unbeaten start to the WhiteBox Property Developments Ltd Limerick senior hurling championship after playing out an exciting 2-16 to 0-22 draw with county champions Doon at Garryspillane GAA Club's Knocklong grounds on Thursday evening.

Kilmallock had led the game 2-7 to 0-11 at half-time. Next up for the South Limerick side is a fourth round meeting with Na Piarsaigh at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale on Saturday, August 30 at 6pm.

Goalkeeper Conor Hanley Clarke contribted three points from long range frees for Kilmallock in Thursday evening's draw with Doon.

Leader Sport's Colm Kinsella caught up with the netminder after the game in Knocklong.
