"We were lucky to get a draw for a finish I think, they got a goal there five minutes to go and we were five points down. In fairness, to the lads they stuck at it but for long periods of the game we weren't really in it so the overall feeling is disappointing," said Mungret St Paul's senior hurling manager Brian Begley.
It was Adare who led for the majority of the contest but Mungret St Paul's produced a strong finish in the last five minutes to snatch a draw in round two of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship on Wedensday evening in Clarina.
Fintan Fitzgerald’s late goal and a stoppage-time point from Brendan Giltenane earned Mungret St Paul's their second draw in the Senior Hurling Championship.

After Mungret St Paul's draw with Adare, manager Brian Begley spoke with Leader Sport.
