WATCH: Doon senior hurling manager Derek McGrath reflects on his side's draw with Na Piarsaigh

Doon and Na Piarsaigh played out a draw in the Limerick SHC on Saturday evening

DOON and Na Piarsaigh played out a 2-16 to 1-19 draw in the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship on Saturday evening in Kilmallock. 

Na Piarsaigh led 2-16 to 1-16 in the closing stages of the second half, two frees from Adam English and a point from Pat Ryan saw both sides settle for a draw. 

Waterford native Derek McGrath is into his second year in charge of the Doon senior hurling team.

Doon will be back in action on Thursday evening when they face Patrickswell in round two of the Whitebox Limerick Senior Hurling Championship.
