Limerick suffered a 2-24 to 0-28 defeat to Dublin in the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final

LIMERICK suffered a shock 2-24 to 0-28 All-Ireland senior hurling championship quarter-final defeat to a superb 14-man Dublin side at Croke Park on Saturday evening.

Saturday's defeat was the first time John Kiely suffered a defeat as Limerick seniour hurling manager at the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final stage. 

The Shannonsiders championship campaign has came an end for the 2025 season. Cork face Dublin and Kilkenny meet Tipperary in the All-Ireland SHC semi-finals. 

Leader Sports Colm Kinsella and Paul Shaughnessy dissected Limerick's defeat to Dublin outside Croke Park on Saturday evening.
