WATCH: Seven in-a-row would be a ‘phenomenal achievement’ for Limerick says Barry Hennessy

Limerick take on Cork in the Munster SHC final on Saturday at 6pm

"One great thing about this (Limerick) group is that they don't take it for granted at all. You've seen the good days and you've equally seen the bad days. I think there is a great humility there whether it's your first or seventh (Munster title), every medal is important," said former Limerick hurler Barry Hennessy. 

Barry Hennessy won four All-Ireland titles and four Munster senior hurling championships during his inter-county career with Limerick. Hennessy recently announced his retirement from club hurling with Kilmallock and he is currently the manager of Smith O'Briens in Clare.

The Limerick senior hurlers are chasing a remarkable seventh consecutive Munster Senior Hurling Championship title this Saturday evening.John Kiely’s side will welcome Cork to the TUS Gaelic Grounds for a blockbuster showdown, with throw-in set for 6pm. 

Former Limerick goalkeeper Barry Hennessy caught up with Paul Shaughnessy of Leader Sport ahead of the Munster senior huling final between Limerick and Cork.
