"THIS is the first time that this 15 has taken to the field together and I'm not complaining about that by the way. This is the nature of the beast, that's the way it goes. Mary I defeated ATU Galway 2-14 to 0-22 in the opening round of the Fitzgibbon Cup on Wednesday evening at Liam Mellows GAA club in Galway.
The reigning Fitzgibbon Cup champions travel to SETU Waterford on Wednesday next at 7pm in round two.
