NA PIARSAIGH manager Shane O'Neill was impressed with his sides ability to kick on in the second-half of the Bon Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling League against Kilmallock as the city team were out right winners finishing 1-20 to 0-13 at Mick Neville Park last Wednesday evening.
This league final win is another piece of sliverware for the club at the start of the season after finishing the league campaign as the only unbeaten senior team.
O'Neill stated after the game: "That goal from Kevin (Daly) in the second-half was kind of crucial for us and it was important for us to not concede one either. It really helped us to get going and powered home a number of great scores towards the end of the game."
The league final is Na Piarsaigh's first league victory since 2022 when they overcame Adare in that final.
