WATCH: Munster Final victory 'felt like our first' says Limerick hurling manager John Kiely

LIMERICK hurling manager John Kiely stated that the Munster Final victory over Clare in FBD Semple Stadium today, Sunday, "felt like the first win" in a Munster final as his side made history in becoming the first every hurling team to win six consecutive Munster finals in a row.

The Shannonsiders were deserving victors on the day running out the victory on a scoreline 1-26 to 1-20 with a vital second-half goal from Gearoid Hegarty in the second-half sealing the win. 

Limerick will now go straight through to the semi-final of the All-Ireland Hurling Championship in Croke Park on Sunday, July 7 as they await the results of upcoming quarter-finals to determine their opponents.
