WATCH: Excited crowds enjoy first shows of this year's UCH Panto (oh yes they did!)

A SURE sign that the Christmas season is well and truly underway is the return of the UCH Panto!

Now in its eleventh year, this year's production of Sleeping Beauty will enchant audiences of all ages.

Featuring stunning sets, colourful costumes, hopping hits, and a talented cast of performers it is not to be missed.

Well-known, writer, actor, comedian and television presenter, Bernard O’Shea (as King Seamus) will join the cast which includes panto favourite Richie Hayes as Muddles, legendary panto Dame Myles Breen as Nurse Noni, Ruth Berkley as Maleficent, John Sharpson as Seamus, Evan O’ Hanlon as Prince Peter and Esther Brady as Princess Beauty.

The show runs at University Concert Hall, Limerick until Sunday, January 14, 2024.

We spoke to some of the children heading to see the Panto dressed up in their finest Christmas clothes.
