AHEAD of this Saturday's protest over the overcrowding crisis at University Hospital Limerick, our reporters Jasmin Griffin and Tomás Halligan have been canvassing the views of people out and about in the city centre.
The protest, which is expected to draw a large crowd, is due to get underway at 11am on Saturday outside City Hall at Merchant’s Quay (Eircode: V94 EH90).
From there, it will take a route through the city via Patrick Street, O'Connell Street, Lower Mallow Street and Henry Street before ending at Arthur’s Quay, where there will be a rally.
The Limerick Leader/Limerick Live will have a presence on the day and there will be full coverage online, on social and in print.
