Shane Lowry is already getting the crowd excited at the Ryder Cup in Rome as one fan video from Thursday morning practice shows.
The Offaly man is playing in his second Ryder Cup this weekend with the competition kicking off at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio, northeast of Rome on Friday.
Practice is well underway and Lowry could be seen encouraging the crowd to chant and clap as he prepared to tee off.
The jubilant fans even broke into a rendition of Olé, Olé, Olé before Lowry stepped up to the tee.
Europe faces a stiff task this weekend to try and wrestle the Ryder Cup back from the USA after a bruising 19-9 defeat on US soil two years ago.
Certainly the home group will make a difference this time around and one man sure to love the rowdy atmosphere is Shane Lowry.
