THE Limerick senior footballers bowed out of the Munster SFC on Sunday afternoon, Cork emerging 4-16 to 1-16 winners at SuperValu Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
A 16-minutes spell in the first half where the hosts scored 4-4 all but ended the game as a contest.
Despite this, Limerick were a much better side after the break and created a share of goal chances.
However, they will play their summer football in the Tailteann Cup.
