NEWCASTLE West manager Liam Keane was "over the moon" with his sides performance against Kildimo-Pallaskenry to make it two wins from two in this years Irish Wire Products Ltd County Senior Football Championship.
The 2023 champions ran out 0-14 to 0-3 victors in their round two game in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale where they reacted well to a shocking injury to their captain Iain Corbett within in the opening 10 minutes of the game.
The senior football championship now takes a six week break as the county senior hurling takes over.
