BALLYSTEEN are aiming for a "strong start" in their opening round game against Kildimo Pallaskenry this Friday, June 28 in their opening round game of the Irish Wire Products Ltd County Senior Football Championship in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale at 7:30pm.
Speaking at the launch of the 2024 football championship Ballysteen footballer Darragh Ranahan said his side are "raring to get started."
"It has been a long build-up we have been training since January and we are aiming to get a better start this year against our neighbours Kildimo Pallaskenry. It would be great to get one of them, they seem to be riding a wave of success at the moment and being neighbours gives a real edge to this opening round game."
