ARDSCOIL RÍS began their 2023/24 Dr Harty Cup campaign with a 0-14 to 0-8 victory over St Flannan's at a rain soaked Sixmilebridge on Wednesday afternoon.
Six points from Mungret's Fintan Fitzgerald set the Limerick school on their way against a fancied Flannan's outfit that had Clare legends Tony Kelly and Jamesie O'Connor as part of their management team.
Following the win, Cronin said he was proud of the display put in by his side given the conditions and the challenge brought by their opponents.
