WATCH: Limerick minor manager Evan Loftus proud of his panel despite Munster exit

LIMERICK'S minor hurling side exited the Munster Championship on Tuesday evening after a 2-21 to 2-15 loss to Clare at Cusack Park in Ennis.

Goals by Árdscoil Ris forward Marc O'Brien either side of half time put the Banner 10 points to the good and in an excellent position.

Limerick fought back to three points with Patrick Kearney and Dara Ferland goals but the comeback ended when Clare hit a scoring purple patch heading into added time.

Following the defeat, Limerick manager Evan Loftus told the assembled media that despite the disappointing result, he is fully sure that many of these players will feature for Limerick in the future.
