UL eased into the semi-finals of the Fitzgibbon Cup following a 4-19 to 0-10 win over UCD at Maguire's Fields last night. A hat-trick of goals from Mikey Kiely set Brian Ryan's side on their way.
The holders of the competition will now make the trip to SETU Waterford in next Thursday's semi-final. UCC play the University of Galway in the other semi-final. Both games will be streamed live on TG4's YouTube channel.
After the victory, UL manager Brian Ryan caught up with Leader Sport's John Keogh and said that he was satisfied with the performance his charges put in during the 21-point win.
