KILLEEDY senior camogie side are taking the "positives" from their opening round defeat to Ahane in this year's championship. Caitlin O'Connor from the club spoke at the launch of the senior camogie championship and stated: "You never want to lose first round we spend our whole year nearly training for it but there is a load of positives to take from it.
"It was a really good hard, match which is exactly what we needed and we will just drive on now in the next game you can't afford to dwell on those losses too much."
Killeedy's next game is against Adare at 7pm this evening where both sides will be aiming to get some points on the championship board.
