It was a massive weekend of action on the Limerick club football scene with finals in senior, intermediate and minor.
On Saturday, St Mary’s-Sean Finns claimed their second title in three years - winning the intermediate crown just two years after coming up from junior. They were 4-17 to 1-10 winners over Oola in Bruff and now go on to the Munster club championship where they will have home advantage against Clare champions St Joseph’s- Milltown Malbay.
On Sunday, the minor and senior finals were played as a double header in Newcastle West. in the curtain raiser, the host club denied Fr Casey’s a three-in-a-row after a 3-10 to 1-7 win while in the senior decider, Dromcollogher-Broadford retained the senior title thanks to a 2-9 to 2-7 win over Monaleen.
