Munster recorded a thrilling win over Perpignan in the Stade Aime Giral on Saturday in the Heineken Cup - here we pick out some of the best pictures from a memorable day.
Despite winning 36-8 in Thomond Park just six days earliers, Munster knew things would be tougher in the south of France. And so it proved.
They trailed 9-3 at the break but a period of pressure early in the second half had them back in the lead and with two minutes remaining they led 13-12. But a Perpignan try with two minutes remaining looked to have stolen the match for the home side before Munster sub JJ Hanrahan, just minutes on the field, produced a moment of magic to snatch the win for Munster in injury time.
The result, coupled with Edinburgh’s shock triumph over Gloucester on Sunday, sees Munster firmly in control at the top of Pool 6. They are on 14 points, five points clear of Gloucester in second who are on nine. Edinburgh are on eight and Perpignan are on seven.
Munster return to Heineken Cup action in January when they travel to Kingsholm to play Gloucester before finishing at home to Edinburgh a week later.
