OVER 450 secondary school students from across Limerick and the wider region joined together for a unique concert in the University Concert Hall last week.
The Seinn 2014 concert, part of Limerick Diocese’s contribution to City of Culture, was a collaboration between Limerick and its counterpart diocese of Killaloe, featuring students from across Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Offaly.
The students combined for the largest choral performance in the UCH for Seinn, an initiative that aims to promote liturgical music among second-level students.
The students were met during the day by both Bishop Kieran O’Reilly of Killaloe and Bishop Brendan Leahy of Limerick.
