VIDEO: GAA Munster Championships preview

The GAA’s Munster Championships are revving up and set to be among the summer’s sporting highlights.

Defending champions Limerick are looking to win back to back Munster Senior hurling titles for the first time since 1981, but have had their problems off the pitch with the departure of Donal O’ Grady.

An outing against Tipperary is first up for TJ Ryan’s side who also face the prospect of overcoming reigning All-Ireland chamions Clare in order to hold onto Corann na Mumhan.

The Banner took the back door route to glory last year but are in search of their first provincial crown since 1998.

In football, Kerry will have to find a way to win without the magic of the Gooch if they want to hold on to the silverware they landed 12 months ago.

Representatives of the Munster counties gathered at King John’s Castle in Limerick city to share their hopes dreams and aspirations ahead of the start of championship season.
