THE referee and team of officials have been named for Munster’s mouth-watering URC inter-pro clash with Leinster on Saturday night on Lansdowne Road. (6pm, live on premier Sports)

Keane Davison (IRFU) will operate as assistant referee one and Dan Carson (IRFU) will operate as assistant referee two.

Colin Stanley (IRFU) will be on TMO duties on the night.

Munster will be aiming for their second URC win of the season.

Munster opened the season with a 26-20 loss to Glasgow at Thomond Park despite being ten points to the good at half-time.

The Red Army bounced back well in their second URC tie, an highly entertaining 26-22 win over the Vodacom Bulls in Limerick.

Most recently, Munster played out a thrilling 26-26 draw with Ulster in their first inter-pro clash of the season.

On the face of it, Munster will have to happy to come away from the Affidea Stadium with a draw but the visitors will have been more than disappointed to throw away a 26-5 half-time lead.

Munster were in Champions Cup action last weekend and got their European endeavours off to a winning start in Páirc Uí Chaoimh against Racing 92 on Saturday night.

The occasion marked the 10th anniversary of former head coach and club legend Anthony Foley’s death - the beloved Shannon man passing away the night before a European clash against the French Top 14 side in 2016.

The hosts ran put 33-25 winners on an emotional night on Leeside and they will be looking to bring that momentum into Saturday night when they face foes Leinster, who also got their European journey off to a winning start last weekend, defeating Clermont Auvergne.
