Social media reaction to Limerick's four in-a-row win

NO MATTER where you are from in the country, you have to take your hat off to the Limerick hurlers who have made history by winning four consecutive All-Irelands.

Thousands of people took to social media to show their support and admiration for Kiely’s squad. Limerick enjoyed their own screening of the game in Pery Square where supporters turned out to enjoy the celebrations and to watch one of the greatest hurling teams ever play.

Many other supporters made their way to Croke Park, where it seemed the entirety of Limerick county had traveled to watch the Treaty men in another All-Ireland Final.

They were treated to a spectacular show in the second-half when the Limerick team kicked on to come out with a nine point win against the Cats.

Manager, John Kiely was also congratulated by the University of Limerick for his squads triumphs in Dublin. The college jokingly said that they will have to start giving the Limerick manager a "doctorate every year at this rate".
