LIMERICK’S junior camogie team will face Roscommon in the quarter-finals of the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Championship on Saturday afternoon.

David Deady’s side have won two out of their three matches in the championship seeing off both Offaly and Mayo. The junior team lost to Armagh in the middle of the championship campaign on a scoreline of 2-18 to 1-6.

Roscommon come into this fixture with the same amount of games won as their Limerick counterparts. They won easily against Tyrone and Louth before losing to a much stronger Clare side in group three of the junior competition.

The quarter-final game takes place in Clane, Co Kildare. The junior team have just found a run of form after having a difficult league campaign.

The Treaty side lost the first three of their league games before beating Offaly ahead of their Munster Junior Final game against Tipperary.

They go into this fixture with a better run of form and confidence from their 2-09 to 0-10 win against Mayo in their final group game. Throw-in at Clane is at 1pm.
