U14 Football
Huge congratulations to our U14 footballers, who put in a fantastic performance in Rathkeale to secure the Division 1 County Final title against Mungret. Captained by Ronan Lavin, the team laid down a strong marker early in a hard-fought battle. A clinical first-half display saw Monaleen lead 3-3 to 0-3 at the break. The lads kept up the intensity through the second half, pushing on to close out a decisive 5-6 to 1-7 victory. A massive well done to all the players and coaches for their hard work and dedication throughout the campaign. Enjoy the celebrations. Monaleen Abú!

Thanks to Ballyneety Golf Course for being such fantastic hosts! The course was in absolute pristine condition, and the hospitality off the fairways was top-class as always. Starting Friday, September 18th at 6pm in Monaleen GAA clubhouse grounds (V94 T9W4). If you’re a parent keen to get involved in coaching, we’d love to hear from you —just let us know! We can’t wait to welcome our youngest players to the Monaleen family. Keep an eye on the club's social media for more details.
PALLASGREEN
Ladies Football
Well done to our Junior Ladies, who rounded off their championship campaign with a fine victory over Mungret in Mungret last Sunday morning. A win would guarantee Pallas a place in the semi-finals and they duly delivered, although the final scoreline perhaps suggests a more comfortable afternoon than it actually was. The opening 20 minutes were a tight and hard-fought affair, with scores at a premium as both sides battled for control. Pallas eventually found some breathing space with two well-taken goals from Sarah Dillon and Caoimhe Butler, helping them to a 2-2 to 0-3 lead at the interval. Pallas were dominant across most sectors of the field in the second half and created plenty of opportunities, but were unable to fully capitalise on the chances that came their way. Mungret’s only score after the break came in the form of a goal, while Pallas added a further 1-5 to put the result beyond doubt. The final score was Pallas 3-7 to Mungret 1-3.

Football
Patrickswell recorded a fine victory at Glin to maintain our 100% record. The first half was low-scoring, but Patrickswell established a 0-6 to 0-3 half-time lead, thanks to Josh Carey, Briain Og O'Sullivan, David Woulfe 0-3 and Shane Quinlan. The hosts equalised with three points at the start of the second half, but Patrickswell rallied with a goal from Eoin Harmon and four straight points (Jack McNamara and David Woulfe 0-3). We now held a 1-10 to 0-7 lead with 15 minutes left. It was a respectable lead, but the result was beyond doubt when Josh Carey scored two goals and more points were added by Nigel Foley, Jack McNamara and Jason Gillane. The final score was 3-13 to 0-9.
